Culture: Egbengwu (Nimo) Ojideleke Day 2021

EGBENGWU Ojideleke Day, a cultural festival took place in Egbengwu, Nimo, Anambra state on the 30th of December 2021.

The last time the colourful event took place was in 1989. Over 30 years ago.

The event featured different displays from age grades, Ndi egwu, Ndi mmonwu.

Achievers from the community were also recognized and honoured. Relatives far and near came together to dance, celebrate and enjoy.

The traditional Ruler of Nimo, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra state, Igwe Maxi Ike-Oliobi, the member representing Njikoka Two Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Pete Ibida and other dignitaries witnessed the occasion.■
